Commitment

As an Asian associate therapist at Love Light Mental Health Counseling Services, PLLC, I understand the importance of cultural identity and its impact on mental health. Navigating anxiety, trauma, or significant life transitions can be overwhelming, making it difficult to manage emotions or find clarity in personal and professional life. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and empathetic. Through exploration and practical problem-solving, I work with clients to develop effective coping strategies and gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts and emotions. My goal is to provide a safe, affirming space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in creating meaningful change.

Areas of Focus

I provide therapeutic support to couples, families, young adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. My primary focus areas include:

  • Couples and Family Relationships – Helping partners and families strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and build deeper connections.
  • Anxiety and Trauma – Assisting clients in processing trauma, managing anxiety, and fostering emotional resilience.
  • Life Transitions – Supporting individuals as they navigate identity formation, career growth, and major life changes.

Therapeutic Approach

My therapy style is integrative and client-centered, drawing from a range of evidence-based and holistic approaches tailored to each client’s needs:

  • Narrative Therapy – Encouraging clients to reframe and reclaim their personal stories to foster healing and empowerment.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Helping clients identify and restructure unhelpful thought patterns to improve emotional regulation and mental well-being.
  • LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy – Providing a safe, inclusive, and validating space for LGBTQ+ individuals to explore identity, relationships, and mental health concerns.
