A Clinical Supervisor would join our team in a part-time, paid capacity, with a primary focus on providing clinical supervision. This role is instrumental in guiding the professional development of Student Interns and Limited Permit holders, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of ethical and legal practice in therapy.

Position Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Licensure Requirements: Candidates must hold a professional license in the state of New York for a minimum of two years.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in working with adults, children, and adolescents is required. Experience with couples and/or group therapy is preferred.

Supervision Duties: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical work of Student Interns and Limited Permit holders, providing them with the necessary supervision and guidance to foster their professional growth.

Professional Development Support: Actively support the professional development of supervisees, offering insights, feedback, and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all supervised therapy practices comply with ethical and legal standards, safeguarding the welfare of clients and the integrity of the profession.

Clinical Documentation: Assist in the preparation and review of clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Insurance Requirement: The supervisor must maintain malpractice insurance.

Flexibility and Balance: This role offers flexible work hours, allowing for a strong work/life balance.

Support System: Our practice provides comprehensive clinical and administrative support to aid in the effective supervision and professional development of our team.
