Hi! My name is David Baksh, and I am a Mental Health Counselor Intern.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and Master of Science in Education from Lehman College, with a focus in School Counseling. I also work as a school counselor and am pursuing a professional career in mental health counseling. I am experienced in solution-focused brief counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy. I will strive to be the therapist who brings you closer to your goals and personal pursuits!
An important goal of mine is to open up a mental health counseling practice of my own. Several personal experiences have inspired me to become a mental health counselor, and so I decided to be the change that I want to see in the world.
Outside of therapy, I play basketball and video games, and I love to workout to audiobooks. One thing people do not know about me is that I am currently saving for my dream vacation to Bora Bora. If you’d like to work with me, please use the contact button below to fill out a consultation form or schedule a free meeting with a member of our intake team. I look forward to working with you!
